Can you make reservations for dinner on a Friday night?

Hi there, we do reserve tables for groups of ten or more. We generally do not reserve individual tables but if you are close by and call, we can try and hold a table for you. As the guide noted, our menu is pub fare done well

What they charge in average for a beer.

An average beer is $5. They have a deal for a PBR and a shot for $5 as well. Also PBRs are $3

Did this place ever go by the name "The Bridge" (or some derivative of that name) in the early '80s?

Yes it was briefly called the Bridge Street Pub in the late 70s for between 1-2 years.

Is this owned by the same people who own the white horse tavern on hudson street

Nope

Are there parking meters near

no, there are many taxi stands. There arw two parking lots near by. Best bet is try public transportation or park uptown then take the train down

This is the place to go in lower Manhattan when you don't want to break the bank to get great service and great food and drinks. Frank (the owner) helps to make sure you are comfortable. Have been going there throughout the year and especially during the holidays for the last 5 years. Enjoy!

It was a hidden place in the middle of the big city with a lot to offer. We had just taken the boat to see the statue of liberty and wanted to chill and have some drinks. We met a lot of nice people and locals. We just ordered some sweet potato fries and they were amazing. Cheap escape in town.

Love the food here. Great price and tasted like home. Lots of good drinks to go with all the comfort food as well. Friendly staff and cool decor. Nicely located just off the busy touristy places for those who want a place to rest their legs while on a vacay. Lots of local people talking about stocks there too.

This is our office's local watering hole. The employees are lovable, the regulars are friendly, the beers are cold, what more could you want?! I have one bone to pick, however. They used to offer a burger special on weekdays that included a cheeseburger and a pint for $10. Now, it has been changed to only offer this special Monday-Wednesday. Management, if you're reading this, bring back the special for Fridays - you could have 6 regular Friday customers eating lunch and drinking a couple rounds but now these 6 regular customers will be going elsewhere.

Easily one of the best-priced bars in lower Manhattan. Have gone here for years and it's extremely consistent. Great spot for travelers and locals alike.

Fantastic bar with a great vintage feel. Very nice inside with a lot of charm. Clean space and restrooms. Menu was good and affordable. Drinks were reasonably priced in fact they were a great deal. This was true for cocktails and beer. The bartender was very cool and was very fast. I think the location is also convenient to lots of places and attractions. I will be back.

Great Atmosphere! Very nice people who work there :) It is a great spot in the south of Manhattan to have moderately priced food and drinks. The fries and wings were awesome. Would go there again for my next NYC trip.

Great place with pub food options. Very affordable for downtown NYC. Bartender was very friendly and the place has a very laid back atmosphere. I don't have anything to complain about, great first visit.

Place was recommend by local. Place is decent, drinks are good and food is ok. Service is VERY slow and heaven help you if you need to get someone's attention for another drink, food or the bill. Staff seemed to be annoyed when our of you asked any question. Overall just an okay place to stop in for a drink. Plenty of other spots with better food & service.

Great little dive. Good food, cold drink, friendly staff.Definitely a must go if you are visiting New York City. Parking is scary. Take a train, cab, or Uber. PBR and a shoot for $5 !!!Cheepest drinks in the Financial District. Not far from museums and attractions. Bowling Green Train station is only a short walk.If you like old times feel, this is it! A True Irish pub!
